Library Helpers
Are you interested in becoming a library monitor for 2015?
Being a library monitor requires commitment and hard work.
Library monitors are school leaders who help to run the library and make sure that we have an organised, tidy and
enjoyable learning space for people to visit.
Aims of the Library Monitor Program:
There will be 16 students to then go on a trial for 2 weeks at the end of which those who are successful will be appointed and receive their Library Monitor badge.These students will be announced at a school assembly to be held Week 6.
Applications close Friday 20th February, 2015.

- To provide alternative and inclusive forms of leadership within the school.
- To encourage ownership of the library by students
- To encourage a tradition of service and commitment from Years 6 students
- To learn new skills, especially information search and ICT skills
- To help and assist fellow students and teachers
- To further the improvement of the library as a quality learning environment
- To develop library communication with the whole school community
